What’s the hardest thing about working in TV?

Which one celebrity woman’s wardrobe would you kill to have?

I am obsessed with a lady named Draya Michele. She and I have similar body types and I love the way she puts her pieces together. She always looks great without trying too hard!

What would the perfect weekend look like?

I’m a really simple girl. I am the happiest when I’m around my friends and family, so anything involving them would be awesome. Chilling at home or at the National Harbour down in [Washington] DC. Great music, food, drinks, laughs, and positive vibes.

The song no one would believe you have on your iPod is…

[Laughs] My friends are actually going to get on me for this one, but it’s Konko Below by Lagbaja. My parents are such huge fans of his and it rubbed off on me. Whenever this song comes on, I can’t help but dance! Playing it is one of the fastest ways to get me out of a funk.

Lately, I’ve been all about the distressed jeans. I have so many old jeans that it’s now a pet project of mine to turn them all into distressed jeans, instead of just throwing them out!

Structured handbag… and a big one at that! I could literally live out of my bag, so I need a big one where I can fit any and everything.

Heels or sneakers?

Sneakers! I beg, I can’t go and kill myself!

Would you ever date someone in the Nigerian entertainment industry?

Never. Nothing against the guys in the industry, but I don’t p*uck where I work. Having a good relationship with these guys is one of the major parts of my job; I would never want to put myself in a compromising position. Big ups to the ones that do, but it’s just not my cup of tea.

Right now, I’d have to say DJ Spinall. He is more than just an IG friend. Him and I are very close and he’s one of my greatest supporters. All around great guy!

In an alternate universe, what job would you love to have?

I would have loved to be a clinical psychologist. I actually have one of my Bachelor’s degrees in clinical psychology. This is hard because I’ve had lots of great interviews, but I’ll have to go with DJ Spinall (again). I think with him, it was the most natural one because it’s just two friends being silly. I had him on my music countdown show, Official Naija Top Ten, and we had everyone cracking up!

Would you go without makeup for one year for charity?

Definitely. In my regular life, 9 out of 10 times you’ll probably see me with no makeup on. Makeup is a part of my job, it’s not a part of me. Charity and philanthropy is at the heart of who I am, so I would do it without a second thought.
