The buckled monk strap has become the hallmark of the fashion-forward, but still classically inclined, sartorial man who would rather make his feet happy.
As against the square-toed, shiny-buckled variations of the 1990s, the modern monk strap shoes are sleeker, more subtle and worn by dapper Pitti-goers and regular style conscious men. In fact, monk straps were originally embraced by their namesake, the monks, in Europe centuries ago, for far more practical reasons.
These foot darlings are worn to fit just about everything: The traditional Nigerian agbadas, suits, shorts and also denim.
Enjoy the different shades, colours and types of monk strap shoes and start strapping!
