With intricate detailing,?? vibrant patterns and Ankara pieces, Ghanian luxury fashion house, Christie Brown delivered a fierce, fabulous and fearless preview of its fall/winter 2017 collection. The creative womenswear brand stuck to its aim of “the very powerful juxtaposing of modern-day feminism and the nagging traditional stereotypes of the suggested role of women in our society.”

The idea behind the collection is to”highlight the trending pushback against present-day societal norms imposed on women who so fiercely want to show their powerful nature in a male dominated world.” There was definitely a powerful infusion of modernism into carefully selected traditional African aesthetic.
