THESE AFRICAN WEDDING DRESS DESIGNERS MAKE YOUR BIG DAY DREAMS COME TRUE

Africa is the home to some pretty successful fashion brands and it is no news that these designers are making wedding dreams come true, home and abroad. You will find fashion designers from virtually every continent and each of their own has their unique style of design.

There are a couple of African designers that are taking the designing of wedding dresses to a new level. From the traditional bridal gowns to haute couture designs, here is a list of wedding dress designers turning it up a notch.

NO. 4: YEMI OSUNKOYA

Yemi Osunkoya of Kosibah specializes in contemporary and elegant couture bridal, evening and formal day wear using luxurious fabrics and sumptuous embellishments. Yemi’s signature use of corsetry and boned bodices cleverly recreates the classical and elegant hourglass figure, producing gowns that curve, shape and flatter the wearer.

Atlanta-based Nigerian designer Nneka C. Alexander, creative director at Brides by NoNA and has made a name for herself as a bespoke bridal designer of custom-made gowns. She specialises in creating high-end custom garments for exclusive clientele with an appreciation for quality.
