Christie Brown

I’m watching the Christie Brown S/S 18 lookbook and can’t help but admit, it’s pure gold. From videography to minor details there’s so much to appreciate about it. We rounded up some really cool facts you need to know about the Christie Brown ‘CONSCIENCE’ S/S 18 campaign video and the BTS  shots as outlined by Papa Oppong Bediako, a young Ghanaian illustrator, designer, concept and art director. Papa has been able to deliver a great aesthetic in the fashion industry while promoting his love for African arts and everything creative in between and is now recognised for his attention to detail.

This campaign video will make you ponder after you get a glimpse of it. The sound effects, angles, lighting, props used show an effortless outcome that truly presents African fashion to the world.

  • The entire film was shot in a day.
  • No CGI was used. (Yes, that bug actually crawled up on the gramophone).
  • The chairs moved with the help of ropes and some tugging. (Improvise, improvise)
